God Corrects  Because He Loves

American Cross

The video follows the transformation of Saul, a devout Pharisee whose rigid, narrow worldview led him to aggressively judge and persecute Christians in defense of the Torah. His life changes radically on the road to Damascus when he encounters Jesus, who strikes him blind, shifting his perspective entirely.

Saul realizes that the people he was persecuting were not enemies but fellow children of God who sought after spiritual growth as Christ's followers. His story serves as a powerful reminder to refrain from passing judgment on others, demonstrating that God corrects us so that we may grow spiritually and expand our capacity to understand, forgive, and love one another by changing the way we view the world.

WITHHOLDING JUDGMENT

Leviticus 19:15

Saul initially took judgment into his own hands, relying on Jewish traditions and laws outlined in the Torah. However, the same scriptures warn their readers against this, reminding us that judgment belongs to God.

“Do not go about as a talebearer… do not stand idly by the blood of your neighbor."

The verse teaches that loving your neighbor requires both restraint (holding your tongue from gossip) and action (stepping in when they are falsely accused).
