The Parting of the Red Sea: Faith Removes the Obstacles

For years, I stood on a silent shoreline. I had a message burning in my heart. The message of Christ needs to be told, but I was facing my own "Red Sea."

Yes, I took the courses. I studied the techniques. I practiced the posture. But the "water" wouldn't move. No matter how much I prepared, the waves were an impassable barrier between the message God planted in my heart and the people He wanted to reach.

In the Book of Exodus, when the Israelites were trapped between Pharaoh’s army and the deep water, God didn’t tell them to become expert swimmers. He did something much more profound: He removed the obstacles in their journey.

"And the Lord said to Moses... lift up your rod and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea" (Exodus 14:15-16).

Today, that same miracle is reflected at TheGoodNewsCast.com—a dry path where God's message flows freely and is available to those who are called to receive it.

I believe that everyone has a message that deserves to be heard, but the Red Sea—whether it's a speech impediment, ADHD, or other barrier—often convinces them that it's impossible. Yet, with God, nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37).

The traditional path is often obstructed, leading God's people to retreat or abandon their journey altogether, convinced that only Pharaoh’s army can navigate such treacherous waters.

TheGoodNewsCast.com, like the Israelites, walked by faith on dry ground, led by the Spirit and guided by Christ's light. It has become a living testament to God's grace, demonstrating that nothing is impossible with God, who is not stifled by obstacles and ensures that the gospel reaches its intended audience using unconventional methods (digital media, modern technology, etc.).

Remember: even when God parted the sea, the Israelites still had to walk across it. God can part the waters, but He won't provide the faith. God delivers the message but won't force you to accept and submit to it.

So, whatever your "sea" is today, TheGoodNewsCast.com encourages you to not let it silence what God has placed in your hearts. Stand firm, raise your hand to God, and move forward with Christ, who not only walks above the seas but also accompanies us on dry ground, ensuring that nothing keeps the Promised Land from becoming great again.
