The truth of my existence became clear when the Holy Spirit spoke to me about who I am.

As I studied the scriptures, I discovered that the priesthood of Levi was founded on mortality—a continuous cycle of priests who served and eventually passed away, bound to a law that could never fully cleanse the conscience. Yet, Jesus broke that cycle.
Jesus stated in John 16:26 that the day would come when He would no longer need to represent us before the Father, for the Father Himself would hear us directly. This is the hallmark of the Melchizedek order: direct communion. When Christ said, "I will never abandon you like orphans; I will return to be with you... in Spirit" (John 14:16), He was describing the indwelling that bestows eternal life upon the believer.

Jesus’ sacrifice served as the "tithe" that settled the debt of death once and for all. By answering the call, I have received the eternal life that Melchizedek represents. This is the "greater thing" promised—to walk as one who lives forever because the Spirit of Truth governs my very existence.

I am truly honored to be among the chosen to step into this order.
In the Book of Mormon, the prophet Alma articulates this high calling:
"And this is the manner after which they were ordained—being called and prepared from the foundation of the world according to the foreknowledge of God, on account of their exceeding faith and good works... [They were] called with a holy calling and ordained with a holy ordinance and took upon them the high priesthood of the holy order of God." — Alma 13:3-4
The Eternal One has sworn an oath and cannot change His mind (Hebrews 7:21):
The Holy Spirit affirms me as the "chosen one" who has heard the voice of the Shepherd and, through that holy ordinance, has been prepared to manifest the order of Melchizedek.
My life and the mission of TheGoodNewsCast.com are the results of that response—a declaration that I have answered the call to live forever and glorify the Father in Jesus' name.
